The Foldalite Trekker expands on the popularity of our existing Foldalite powerchairs, coupling intelligent design and smooth control with a multi-purpose build that’s perfect for the day-to-day powerchair user.

Taking its cues from the aerospace industry, the Foldalite Trekker is constructed from lightweight aluminium that offers just as much in the way of stability and durability as it does in convenience. This ultra-lightweight chair weighs just over 5st (33kg), so it’s more than easy to lift into the boot of your car. Within seconds the Trekker can be folded to a compact, manageable size, convenient both for transportation and for discreet storage.

There’s more than enough power built into the Trekker to get you wherever you need to go. The 20Ah lithium-ion batteries deliver an uninterrupted travel range of 13 miles (21km), impressive for a powerchair, with a powerful 250W motor also under the bonnet.

Dedicated brushless motors are located on each rear wheel to provide extra efficiency and long-term performance, and the lithium-ion phosphate batteries are safer, lighter and longer-lasting than those found on other powerchairs. High thresholds will no longer be an obstacle with the Foldalite Trekker.

Everything you need for comfortable travel is built right into the Trekker’s frame. The 18” cushioned seat is contoured for pressure relief and resistant to compression, supporting weights up to 23.5st (150kg). The adjustable leg guard and adjustable footrest helps you set up the chair to suit your own specific preferences. The 8” front wheels are fitted with front fork suspension and the large 12” rear rubber wheels feature treaded tyres, offering a smooth drive and enough protection to take you over all kinds of terrain.
