About this adaptation

Experience unparalleled driving control and comfort with the Guidosimplex 2015A Front Trigger Electronic Accelerator with Brake. This innovative, all-in-one hand control system is meticulously engineered for drivers who require precise and effortless management of acceleration and braking, transforming every journey into a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Designed for optimal user experience, the 2015A allows for intuitive throttle control via a responsive trigger integrated into the lever handle, delivering immediate and gradual electronic acceleration. Braking is equally seamless, activated by a gentle push forward of the lever, offering proportional response to your applied force. This thoughtful design significantly reduces driver fatigue, making it an ideal choice for daily commutes, long-distance travel, or professional driving.

Beyond its core functionality, the Guidosimplex 2015A integrates a suite of intelligent features to enhance both safety and convenience. A unique 'Micro Switch' actively prevents simultaneous gas and brake engagement, while an automatic acceleration inhibitor provides an extra layer of security when the brake is firmly applied. For added control in challenging conditions, a motor reduction button allows for a 50% power decrease, perfect for navigating busy traffic or intricate parking scenarios.

Further elevating its practicality, this system includes an integrated horn button for easy access and an electric locking system for the brake lever. This innovative locking mechanism simplifies hill starts and provides a secure hold, ensuring a confident and stress-free driving experience in various situations. The Guidosimplex 2015A is more than just a control system; it's a commitment to enhanced mobility and driving independence.

Who is it suitable for?

**Upper Limb Mobility Limitations**: This product is ideal for drivers with reduced leg mobility or strength, as it allows for complete control of acceleration and braking using only one hand. This includes individuals who use a wheelchair or have conditions affecting their lower limbs.

**Hand and Finger Dexterity**: Users need to have sufficient hand and finger strength and dexterity to operate a trigger for acceleration and push a lever for braking. The design aims to reduce fatigue, making it suitable for those who might find traditional pedal operation tiring or difficult.

**Enhanced Safety and Control**: Drivers who benefit from additional safety features, such as preventing simultaneous gas and brake engagement, hill start assistance, and reduced power mode for precise maneuvers, will find this system particularly beneficial. This can include new hand control users or those navigating varied driving conditions.

**Independent Driving**: This adaptation promotes driving independence for individuals who require modifications to operate a vehicle safely and comfortably with their upper limbs.

Why prices are quoted for your vehicle

Modern cars differ a lot — steering systems, electronics, airbags, dashboards and mounting points. What fits one model may need different parts, programming or labour on another. The figures on this page are a starting point for supplied & fitted work; we confirm a firm price once we know your make, model and year, and have checked compatibility.

Workshop fitting vs mobile

Most adaptations are fitted at our Heathrow or Ferndown workshops, where we have the tools, lifts and diagnostic equipment to do the job properly. Some simpler fittings can still be done at your home or a dealership when the product and vehicle allow — we'll say so when we quote. We never force a mobile fit where workshop conditions are safer or required by the manufacturer.

Area we cover

We focus on local service from our two workshops — roughly within about 30 miles of Heathrow (West Drayton) and about 60 miles of Ferndown (Wimborne). Collection and return of your vehicle, home visits and mobile work (where suitable) sit inside those bands. Outside the area you can usually still bring the vehicle to us, or ask about options when you request a quote.
