Need help choosing the right adaptations?
Designed for drivers who are unable to operate the accelerator pedal with their right foot, this adaptation allows a driver to operate an accelerator pedal on the left of the brake pedal with their left foot.
We offer our Left Foot Accelerator for almost every model of vehicle in the UK, either our revolutionary electric model as shown on this page, for vehicles with floor mounted electric organ style accelerator pedals, or our twin-folding model that can be seen by selecting the 'Twin Folding' tab at the top of this page.
Electrically replicates the standard right hand side accelerator pedal using an additional OEM accelerator pedal to the left hand side of the brake pedal.
Allows a vehicle to be converted easily to drive with either the left or right foot.
Mimics the original pedal with full range of acceleration and no loss of ‘Kick Down’.
The safety function only allows for use of one accelerator pedal at a time.
The Electric Left Foot Accelerator is operated by simply selecting the required pedal using the change over switch. The pedal selected is energised whilst the other pedal has no function and can be used as a foot rest. This allows the vehicle to be driven using either the right or left foot depending on the drivers preference.
Please note if you're vehicle has a foot operated parking brake, we may need to install a Foot Operated parking Brake Easy Release.
Important safety noticeIf you have previously driven with manual transmission we would not recommend a left foot accelerator as the finesse required for accelerating is very different from the operation of a clutch.
In this scenario we would generally suggest that you consider driving with hand controls.
Due to the specialized nature of our products, most installations are completed in our workshops. However, some products can be fitted on-site. Please check with us to confirm if on-site installation is an option for your product.
All fitted adaptations are backed by a minimum 12-month guarantee. Some manufacturers may automatically extend this coverage up to three years, depending on the specific product.
