This innovative boot hoist effortlessly stows your scooter or powerchair into your vehicle with a simple push of a button, eliminating the need for strenuous lifting or awkward manoeuvring. Designed for ultimate convenience, it transforms the process of loading and unloading, allowing you to focus on your journey ahead.
Imagine simply driving your mobility device onto the robust platform at the rear of your vehicle, stepping off, and letting the Joey Lift do all the hard work. Its powerful, automated operation handles devices weighing up to 159 kg, safely securing them for transit. The intelligent design includes built-in wheel chocks for stability and an illuminated platform, ensuring safe and easy use even in dimly lit conditions or at night. Crafted to the highest European safety standards, including crash-tested mounting brackets, the Platform Joey Lift provides complete peace of mind. It requires no modifications to your mobility device and, in most vehicles, retains the use of your second-row seating. The right fit
Who is it suitable for?
Effortless Loading: This product is ideal for individuals who use a mobility device (such as a scooter or powerchair) and experience difficulty with physically lifting or maneuvering it into a vehicle. It eliminates the need for manual lifting, making vehicle transfers much easier.
Reduced Physical Strain: Suitable for those with limited upper body strength, hand dexterity, or those who wish to avoid bending and twisting. The powered operation means you only need to push a button on a remote control.
Independent Travel: Perfect for mobility device users who want to maintain their independence and easily transport their equipment without relying on assistance from others for loading and unloading.
Safe Operation: Benefits individuals who prioritize safety and stability during the loading process. The platform and wheel chocks provide a secure base for your mobility device, and optional tie-downs offer additional security.

From enquiry to fitting
Fitting & coverage
Why prices are quoted for your vehicle
Modern cars differ a lot — steering systems, electronics, airbags, dashboards and mounting points. What fits one model may need different parts, programming or labour on another. The figures on this page are a starting point for supplied & fitted work; we confirm a firm price once we know your make, model and year, and have checked compatibility.
Workshop fitting vs mobile
Most adaptations are fitted at our Heathrow or Ferndown workshops, where we have the tools, lifts and diagnostic equipment to do the job properly. Some simpler fittings can still be done at your home or a dealership when the product and vehicle allow — we'll say so when we quote. We never force a mobile fit where workshop conditions are safer or required by the manufacturer.
Area we cover
We focus on local service from our two workshops — roughly within about 30 miles of Heathrow (West Drayton) and about 60 miles of Ferndown (Wimborne). Collection and return of your vehicle, home visits and mobile work (where suitable) sit inside those bands. Outside the area you can usually still bring the vehicle to us, or ask about options when you request a quote.
