Accelerating ring switch repair at our Ferndown branch
We replaced a faulty microswitch on an accelerating ring control at our Ferndown workshop to restore full function.

A customer contacted our Ferndown workshop when the momentary switch on their steering wheel accelerating ring stopped functioning reliably. This type of hand control requires precise response for safe and smooth driving, so prompt technical attention was required.
Our vehicle adaptation technicians inspected the steering ring mechanism and diagnosed a failing microswitch inside the assembly. We carefully dismantled the control housing, removed the worn component, and wired in a brand new microswitch before reassembling the mechanism.
Once fully tested and checked to ensure safe, responsive operation, the vehicle was handed back to the customer with full hand control functionality completely restored.
