A08 Freedomchair Folding Electric Wheelchair

The mid-range A08 travels up to 27 miles, has a top speed of 6mph, weighs 23.5kg and folds to fit in a car boot. Joystick or attendant controlled, the chair has power and speed controls, a horn and an extendable lap belt.

The lightweight Freedom A08 can take 3 batteries, generating the up to 27-mile driving range. Plus, the 4mph chair can operate safely on a gradient between 0-10 degrees. The electro-magnetic brakes are automatically applied when the joystick is in the neutral position, preventing accidental rolling. A significant increase from the smaller A06 model, this chair has a maximum user weight of 25 stone (158kg), with a seat dimension of 17.5 inches wide and 17 inches deep.
