Designed for ease of use, our Electric Handbrake system replaces traditional handbrakes, offering a convenient solution for drivers experiencing hand or arm weakness, or for those seeking a more modern vehicle feature. This system is ideal for individuals with disabilities or limited strength, providing a simple ON/OFF switch operation.

While many newer vehicle models come equipped with factory-installed electric handbrakes, our solution allows for the retro-fitting of this technology to a wide range of vehicles that do not have it as standard.

The electric handbrake utilizes an electric motor to engage and disengage the parking brake. Instead of the physical effort required for a traditional handbrake lever, a simple press of a dashboard-mounted switch activates the system. The switch's location can be customized to your preference, either in the traditional handbrake spot or on the dashboard, though placement may be limited by dashboard design and accessibility. Specifications:

• Activation: Press and hold the 'P' side of the switch for 3-6 seconds to engage the handbrake.
• Deactivation: Press the opposite side of the switch to release the handbrake. Release is typically faster than engagement.
• Compatibility: Suitable for the majority of vehicle types. Please contact us to confirm your vehicle's compatibility.
• Switch Design: Updated to an all-black finish for a sleeker look (previously red and green). Operation remains the same.

Due to the specialized nature of our products, most installations are completed in our workshops. However, some products can be fitted on-site. Please check with us to confirm if on-site installation is an option for your product.

All fitted adaptations are backed by a minimum 12-month guarantee. Some manufacturers may automatically extend this coverage up to three years, depending on the specific product.
