Adaptations fitted to a Citroën Berlingo in Ferndown
We installed a boot hoist, electric boot opener, and steering ball to a Citroën Berlingo at our Ferndown workshop.

A customer visiting our Ferndown workshop required several vehicle adaptations to improve accessibility and make daily travel easier. Their Citroën Berlingo needed solutions for steering control, loading a heavy mobility scooter, and operating the rear tailgate without exertion.
Our technicians fitted a Jeff Gosling quick-release steering ball to enable smooth single-handed steering control. In the boot, we installed a Jeff Gosling 100kg four-way transferrable boot hoist. To make accessing the boot completely effortless, we also fitted a BAS electric boot opener, allowing the tailgate to open and close automatically.
After completing the installation, we invited the customer to test the setup and balanced the hoist to suit their specific scooter. The completed adaptations provide full independence and effortless vehicle access.
