Adaptations fitted to a Honda HR-V at Heathrow
We fitted push/pull driving controls and a four-way boot hoist to a Honda HR-V for a Motability customer at our Heathrow branch.
A Motability customer recently visited our Heathrow workshop requiring comprehensive vehicle adaptations for their new hybrid Honda HR-V. To enable hand operation of the vehicle, our technicians installed a set of Jeff Gosling push-pull hand controls equipped with an integrated indicator switch, alongside a quick-release steering wheel ball for easy one-handed steering.
To assist with loading and unloading the customer's mobility device, we fitted an 80kg four-way boot hoist complete with a dedicated lifting bracket. Once the installation was complete, the customer visited our branch to have the hoist finely balanced to their specific equipment, ensuring smooth, effortless operation and complete independence on the road.
