Autochair boot hoist fitted to a Nissan Qashqai at Heathrow
We fitted an Autochair 4-way boot hoist to a Nissan Qashqai at our Heathrow branch to assist a Motability customer with loading their boot scooter.
A Motability customer visited our Heathrow branch needing a practical solution for loading their mobility scooter into their new Nissan Qashqai. Lifting the scooter manually into the boot was no longer manageable, so a powered boot hoist was required.
Our technicians installed an Autochair Smartlifter four-way boot hoist into the vehicle. This powered hoist allows the customer to effortlessly lift and manoeuvre the scooter in and out of the boot space at the touch of a button, taking all the physical strain out of loading.
We adjusted the attachment points to suit the customer's specific boot scooter and carried out a full familiarisation demonstration. We showed how removing the scooter seat allows the frame to sit perfectly balanced inside the boot space, leaving the customer confident and ready to hit the road.
