Driving controls fitted to a Honda HR-V near Heathrow

We fitted a stalk crossover arm and quick-release steering wheel aid to a new Honda HR-V for a Motability customer near our Heathrow branch.

Jeff Gosling quick-release steering ball mounted on a Honda HR-V steering wheel

A Motability customer required tailored driving adaptations fitted to their new Honda HR-V prior to vehicle handover. To enable comfortable, single-handed management of primary controls, they needed a steering wheel aid combined with an indicator stalk crossover arm.

Our technician visited the supplying dealership to complete the installation on site. We fitted a Jeff Gosling quick-release steering ball to provide smooth one-handed steering, along with a sturdy stalk crossover bar that enables the indicators to be operated easily from the opposite side of the steering wheel.

Following thorough testing, the setup was left ready for the customer to collect. The quick-release mechanism allows the steering ball to be removed instantly whenever another driver uses the car.
