Driving controls fitted to a Nissan Qashqai in Heathrow

A Motability customer visited our Heathrow team requiring driving adaptations fitted to their new Nissan Qashqai. Having used a similar setup on a previous vehicle, they needed familiar driving controls installed before taking delivery to ensure total confidence on the road.

Our vehicle technicians fitted Jeff Gosling push/pull hand controls complete with an integrated indicator switch, connected via an indicator interface box. To assist with smooth one-handed steering, we also installed a quick-release steering ball mounted at the ten o'clock position on the steering wheel. Additionally, we modified the driver side door access to make getting in and out smoother.

After thorough safety checks and testing, the vehicle was handed over fully prepared, enabling the customer to drive safely and comfortably.
