Easy release handbrake fitted to a Volkswagen Transporter

A customer contacted our Ferndown branch needing a practical solution to make operating the handbrake easier in their Volkswagen Transporter. Standard lever-style handbrakes often demand considerable grip strength and leverage, which can be awkward or painful to manage on daily journeys.

To assist, our mobile adaptation technician travelled directly to the customer's home to install a Jeff Gosling easy release handbrake. This adaptation attaches neatly to the vehicle's conventional handbrake lever, significantly reducing the force needed to press the release button and lower the brake.

Once fitted, our installer tested the mechanism thoroughly and provided a clear demonstration to ensure the customer was completely confident operating the new control. The Transporter is now much simpler and more comfortable to drive, giving the customer restored independence on the road.
