Guidosimplex driving controls fitted to a Volkswagen Tiguan
We installed a Guidosimplex electronic ghost accelerator ring and push brake to a Volkswagen Tiguan at our Heathrow branch.
A Motability customer required driving controls fitted to their new Volkswagen Tiguan, having used a similar setup on a previous car. To provide smooth, comfortable hand operation for both acceleration and braking, they selected an electronic accelerator ring paired with a push brake.
Our technicians at the Heathrow branch installed a Guidosimplex Ghost rotating electronic under-ring accelerator behind the steering wheel, along with a push brake lever featuring a hill start mechanism and integrated horn button. We also fitted the required radio transmission kit and hybrid power wiring to integrate seamlessly with the vehicle's electronic systems.
Following thorough safety testing, we recorded a clear video demonstration to walk the customer through operating the controls, hill start feature, and horn, ensuring full familiarisation and complete peace of mind.
