Left foot accelerator fitted to a Honda ZR-V in Heathrow

A Motability customer visited our Heathrow branch needing an adaptation to drive their new Honda ZR-V. Having previously driven with a left foot accelerator, they required a familiar setup installed prior to vehicle handover.

Our experienced engineers fitted a Jeff Gosling twin flip folding left foot accelerator. This system allows the driver to operate the accelerator pedal using their left foot, while an integrated guard covers the original right-hand pedal to prevent accidental operation. The quick-release mechanism also enables the pedal to flip down for conventional right-foot driving whenever required.

The installation was completed neatly to OEM standards, ensuring full compatibility with the hybrid vehicle's controls. Following a thorough safety check and demonstration, the customer was ready to take delivery of their adapted vehicle with complete confidence.
