Left footrest removal on a Subaru Impreza WRX

We modified the driver footwell of a Subaru Impreza WRX by removing the factory left footrest to provide extra space and comfort for the driver.

Subaru Impreza WRX prepared for workshop adaptation work

The owner of a Subaru Impreza WRX contacted our Heathrow branch requiring an alteration to the driver side footwell. Due to specific leg mobility needs, the standard factory-fitted left footrest was restricting comfortable positioning and making driving uncomfortable.

Our approved adaptation technicians collected the vehicle and carefully uninstalled the left footrest assembly. By safely clearing and trimming the footwell space, we ensured the driver had ample room to position their leg comfortably without any interference when operating the vehicle.

After thorough safety checks to guarantee the pedal area remained completely unobstructed, the car was delivered back to the customer. This straightforward modification made a noticeable difference to driver comfort and ease of use.
