Push brake and over-ring accelerator fitted to a Volkswagen Tayron
Electronic over-ring accelerator and push brake fitted to a Volkswagen Tayron under the Motability scheme at our Heathrow branch.
A Motability customer visited our Heathrow workshop requiring driving hand controls fitted to their new Volkswagen Tayron. To enable smooth, independent driving without using traditional foot pedals, we recommended an electronic over-ring accelerator paired with a push brake system.
Our accredited vehicle technicians installed an electronic over-ring accelerator discreetly behind the steering wheel, allowing precise speed control with minimal pressure. Alongside this, we fitted a mechanical push brake complete with an integrated hill start mechanism and horn button for quick, convenient access during everyday driving.
Following thorough safety testing and operational checks, the vehicle was handed over. The clean installation provides complete, confident control while maintaining the car's sleek interior finish and original driving capability.
