Push/pull hand controls fitted to a Jaecoo 5 at Heathrow
We fitted push/pull hand controls, an indicator interface, and a quick-release steering ball to a Jaecoo 5 for a Motability customer at our Heathrow branch.
A Motability customer visited our Heathrow branch needing driving adaptations installed on their new Jaecoo 5. To match their driving requirements and ensure full control, they required hand-operated controls for acceleration and braking alongside a steering aid.
Our approved technicians installed a set of Jeff Gosling push/pull hand controls complete with an integrated indicator switch. To enable full signal control through the vehicle's electrical system, we fitted a dedicated indicator interface box. We also mounted a quick-release steering ball at the requested ten o'clock position on the steering wheel, allowing smooth single-handed steering.
Once installation and thorough testing were complete, the vehicle was ready for handover. The completed setup allows the customer to drive safely and comfortably with complete confidence in their new vehicle.
