Push/pull hand controls fitted to a Toyota Urban Cruiser at Heathrow

A Motability customer visited our Heathrow branch needing driving controls installed on their new electric Toyota Urban Cruiser. They required a familiar setup similar to their previous vehicle, allowing them to comfortably manage acceleration, braking, and indicating without using foot pedals.

Our technicians installed Jeff Gosling push/pull hand controls incorporating a built-in indicator switch, wired alongside an indicator interface box. We also fitted a quick-release steering ball positioned at ten o'clock on the steering wheel to provide smooth one-handed steering control.

After testing and verifying all electrical integration, we conducted a comprehensive familiarisation handover with the driver to ensure they were confident with the operation before taking their new vehicle on the road.
