Push/pull hand controls fitted to MINI Countryman at Ferndown

A Motability customer visited our Ferndown workshop to have driving adaptations installed on a new MINI Countryman. They required mechanical controls that would allow full operation of the accelerator, brake, and indicators without relying on foot pedals.

Our qualified technicians fitted Jeff Gosling push/pull hand controls, complete with an integrated indicator switch connected via a dedicated interface box. We also mounted a quick-release steering wheel ball to enable smooth, single-handed steering alongside the hand controls.

Once installed, everything was thoroughly tested to ensure precise response and seamless operation. The complete setup allows the driver to control acceleration, braking, and signalling comfortably and safely, returning full confidence behind the wheel.
