Satellite accelerator fitted to a Renault Scenic
A wireless satellite pen accelerator was fitted to a Renault Scenic at our Ferndown workshop to assist a driver with limited right leg mobility.
A customer visited our Ferndown workshop needing an alternative driving control system for their Renault Scenic due to limited mobility in their right leg. To allow comfortable and precise speed control without using traditional foot pedals, we recommended fitting a satellite pen accelerator alongside custom hand controls.
Our technicians fitted and calibrated the wireless satellite pen accelerator, which fits comfortably on the hand or steering wheel, allowing smooth speed operation using simple thumb pressure. We also demonstrated additional control options during collection to ensure the driver felt completely confident with the new layout before taking the car home.
The completed adaptation provides smooth and precise acceleration control, restoring driving independence and making everyday journeys comfortable and effortless once again.
