Veigel hand controls repair at our Heathrow branch
We repaired a loose connection on a customer's Veigel hand controls and discussed transfer plate upgrade options at our Heathrow workshop.

A customer visited our Heathrow workshop under the Motability scheme after experiencing an issue with their Veigel hand controls. The push-button feature had stopped functioning correctly, making it difficult to operate the controls reliably while driving.
Our technicians carried out a thorough inspection of the hand control system to identify the fault. We discovered a loose contact within the switch connector. Our team safely reconnected the wiring, ensured a solid electrical contact, and secured the connection to prevent any future connection issues.
While in the workshop, the customer also asked about potential upgrades to their current transfer plate. We showed them several folding and flip transfer plate options, explaining how each model could make transferring in and out of the vehicle easier. With the hand controls fully restored and options discussed, the customer returned safely to the road.
