4-way boot hoist fitted to a Vauxhall Grandland at Heathrow
We installed a 4-way boot hoist into a Vauxhall Grandland at our Heathrow branch to help lift a heavy power wheelchair effortlessly into the boot.
A customer visited our Heathrow branch through the Motability Scheme needing a practical solution to load their heavy folding power wheelchair into a new Vauxhall Grandland hybrid. Lifting the chair manually into the boot was no longer manageable, so a powered lifting solution was essential.
Our installer fitted a 4-way boot hoist into the Grandland's boot area. This system effortlessly lifts and electrically swivels the heavy power chair inside the rear luggage compartment at the touch of a button, removing all physical exertion from loading and unloading.
Once installed, our team completed full safety checks to ensure smooth operation and maximum remaining boot space. The customer can now travel independently, confident that their mobility equipment is securely stowed and ready for use.
