Autochair boot hoist fitted to a Vauxhall Zafira
We collected a Vauxhall Zafira to fit an Autochair 4-way boot hoist, enabling easy loading of a mobility scooter before returning the car.
The customer needed a reliable solution to help lift their mobility scooter into the boot of their Vauxhall Zafira without manual effort. To make the installation process completely hassle-free, our team arranged to collect the vehicle directly from the customer's home and bring it to our Ferndown workshop.
Our technicians fitted an Autochair Smartlifter 80kg four-way boot hoist into the rear boot area. This system offers powered lifting and powered rotation, making it simple to hoist mobility equipment and smoothly guide it inside the boot space at the touch of a button.
Once the installation and thorough safety checks were completed, we returned the vehicle to the customer. They were given a complete demonstration on how to operate the hoist safely, restoring their independence and making daily trips effortless.
