Autochair boot hoist fitted to an MG HS at our Heathrow branch
We fitted a 4-way Autochair boot hoist to a new MG HS hybrid, allowing effortless loading and unloading of a power wheelchair.
A Motability customer required a practical boot hoist solution for their new MG HS hybrid to simplify loading and stowing their powered wheelchair. We collected the vehicle to carry out the installation at our workshop.
Our technicians fitted an Autochair 4-way transferrable boot hoist into the rear compartment. The four-way motorized operation allows the hoist to smoothly lift the wheelchair and guide it directly into the boot space with minimal physical effort required.
Once the installation was complete and safety-checked, we returned the vehicle and provided a full familiarisation demonstration, showing how to operate the hoist controls and secure the equipment for travel.
