Autochair person lift fitted to a Nissan Qashqai

A customer contacted our Ferndown branch looking for a practical solution to make getting in and out of their Nissan Qashqai much easier and safer. Standard car seats were proving difficult to transfer onto comfortably, so we recommended fitting an Autochair Smart Transfer person lift.

To make the process as seamless as possible, our team arranged to collect the vehicle directly from the customer's home in the morning. Once in our workshop, our trained adaptation technicians securely fitted the lifting frame into the front passenger position. This discreet system safely transfers the user from a wheelchair into the vehicle seat using a flexible sling and powered arm.

After thorough testing and safety checks, the Qashqai was returned to the customer. The new adaptation makes entering and exiting the car straightforward, restoring comfort and independence for future journeys.
