BraunAbility Turny Evo fitted to a VW Tayron at Heathrow

A Motability customer recently visited our Heathrow branch needing a practical solution to make getting in and out of their new Volkswagen Tayron easier and safer. Standard vehicle seats were making transfers difficult, so our team recommended a fully programmable lowering swivel seat complete with dual armrests for improved comfort and stability.

Our certified technicians fitted a BraunAbility Turny Evo lowering swivel seat paired with a compact seat profile. The Turny Evo rotates smoothly out of the door frame and lowers to a comfortable height, allowing effortless side transfers. We also configured the system with a transferable wheelchair base, enabling the seat to slide directly onto a wheelchair chassis for complete mobility inside and outside the vehicle.

After final quality checks, our installer provided a full familiarisation demonstration. We walked the customer through every step of operating the seat controls safely, ensuring they felt completely confident before heading home.
