Person hoist fitted to a Peugeot 2008 in Ferndown
We installed an Autochair person hoist to the front passenger seat of a Peugeot 2008, followed by a detailed demonstration at our Ferndown workshop.
A Motability customer visited us needing help transferring safely from her wheelchair into the front passenger seat of a new Peugeot 2008. As this was her first time using a transfer lift, selecting a reliable system and ensuring smooth, comfortable operation was essential.
Our technicians fitted an Autochair Smart Transfer person lift into the front passenger doorway, complete with a tailored small sling. The discrete mounting frame allows the lift arm to be quickly detached and stowed in the boot when traveling, keeping the cabin tidy and uncluttered.
Before returning the car, the customer visited our workshop for a full familiarisation demonstration. We guided her step-by-step through operating the hoist and positioning the sling, ensuring complete confidence for her future journeys.
