Boot hoist and steering ball fitted at Heathrow branch
A 100kg boot hoist and steering ball fitted for a Motability customer at our Heathrow workshop to help lift a mobility scooter.

A Motability customer visited our Heathrow workshop needing assistance with loading their Drive Scout mobility scooter into their vehicle, as well as easier steering control while driving.
Our mobility technicians installed a Jeff Gosling 100kg four-way boot hoist in the luggage compartment. To accommodate the scooter safely, we advised the customer that removing the scooter seat and folding down the rear 60% seat section would provide the ideal clearance during loading. We also fitted a steering wheel ball fixed at the four o'clock position to suit their individual driving preferences.
After completing the installation, our team demonstrated the safe operation of the hoist and steering controls. The customer left satisfied, able to stow their mobility scooter effortlessly and drive with full confidence.
