Boot hoist fitted to a Skoda Karoq by our Heathrow team

A Motability customer contacted our Heathrow team needing a solution to lift their K-Lite FE mobility scooter into a new Skoda Karoq. As their previous hoist was five years old and unsuitable for transfer, a brand new 4-way boot hoist was required.

We supplied and fitted a Jeff Gosling 4-way 100kg boot hoist with Apex Assist. Our technicians carefully installed the hoist mechanism in the boot of the Skoda Karoq, ensuring the lifting capacity and geometry matched the customer's folding scooter.

Once installed, we tested and balanced the hoist system specifically with the K-Lite FE scooter to ensure smooth, stable operation. The completed adaptation allows the customer to load and unload their mobility scooter smoothly and safely without heavy manual lifting.
