Jeff Gosling 4 way boot hoist fitted in a Volkswagen Transporter Shuttle

A customer with a Volkswagen Transporter Shuttle visited our workshop needing an efficient way to load their boot scooter. They required a sturdy adaptation that could handle the weight of the scooter effortlessly while retaining usability in the rear of the vehicle.

Our technicians installed a Jeff Gosling four-way boot hoist into the rear load area. To accommodate the setup, we carefully unbolted the rear row of seats as requested. We also conducted comprehensive electrical testing on the installation to measure current draw, confirming that the hoist draws no power when idle and operates cleanly off the vehicle battery system.

The four-way hoist provides smooth powered lifting and powered in-and-out manoeuvring, making loading a scooter straightforward and manageable for the driver.
