Boot hoist repair completed at our Heathrow branch

A customer contacted our Heathrow branch when their boot hoist stopped operating correctly, with the hoist arm sticking during operation and preventing them from loading their mobility device. As the equipment was supplied through the Motability scheme, we arranged for the vehicle to be assessed at our workshop.

Our technicians carried out a thorough inspection of the hoist mechanism and identified the fault causing the arm to bind. After securing Motability approval and checking warranty coverage, we performed the necessary repairs and serviced the lifting mechanism.

Following tests under load to confirm smooth operation, the hoist was restored to full working order, allowing the customer to safely stow their equipment once again.
