Folding mobility scooter service at Ferndown branch

We arranged collection of a folding mobility scooter from a customer in the local area for a scheduled service at our Ferndown workshop. As the customer did not require a temporary loan scooter, our team brought the unit directly into our service centre for a thorough mechanical and electrical inspection.

During the comprehensive service, our technician completed standard battery and motor checks and identified a couple of wear-and-tear issues. The front track rods were showing significant wear, and the rear left wheel had begun to slip on its inner rim. Addressing these points was essential to maintain smooth steering and prevent further wheel damage during daily use.

With the worn parts replaced and the wheel re-seated securely, the folding scooter underwent a final test drive. We then returned the fully serviced equipment back to the customer, ensuring it remains safe, reliable, and comfortable for regular outings.
