Mobility scooter diagnostic and repair service in Ferndown

Our Ferndown team carried out a call-out repair on a non-runner mobility scooter that was displaying a fault code.

A customer contacted our Ferndown branch when their mobility scooter suddenly stopped driving and began sounding a repetitive warning bleep. Unable to use the scooter for daily errands like local shopping trips, they required a prompt call-out service to diagnose and resolve the issue.

One of our mobile technicians visited the customer at home after arranging a convenient time. Upon inspecting the scooter, the technician identified the specific fault code indicated by the sequence of diagnostic bleeps, which related to the freewheel lever switch and drive brake mechanism.

After clearing the fault, resetting the controller, and thoroughly testing the battery status and motor drive, the scooter was restored to full working order. The customer was delighted to have their independence restored so quickly without needing to transport the scooter into our workshop.
