Mobility scooter service and repair at our Heathrow branch
A Motability mobility scooter was brought to our Heathrow workshop for an annual service, battery health check, and knocking noise repair.
A customer on the Motability scheme contacted our Heathrow branch to arrange a routine annual service for their mobility scooter, alongside an investigation into an intermittent knocking noise and a health check on the batteries.
Our technician collected the scooter and brought it into the workshop for diagnostic testing. We inspected the motor, transaxle, and steering assembly to identify and resolve the source of the knocking sound, ensuring all mechanical fixings were securely tightened and lubricated. The battery set was also load tested to evaluate capacity and overall performance.
With the full service complete and the mechanical issue resolved, the scooter was delivered back to the customer running smoothly, safely, and quietly for total peace of mind.
