Quickie Q300 M Mini powerchair repaired at Ferndown, fixing a faulty solenoid brake and jammed seatbelt.

Quickie Q300 M Mini powerchair brought in for repair

A Motability scheme customer contacted our Ferndown workshop after experiencing issues with her Quickie Q300 M Mini powerchair. The left solenoid brake was broken, preventing safe operation, and the seatbelt mechanism had jammed shut. With an upcoming trip abroad booked, a prompt and effective repair was essential.

Our mobility technicians inspected the powerchair at our Ferndown branch. We replaced the faulty solenoid brake unit to restore full electric braking function and safety. The jammed seatbelt mechanism was also carefully cleared, tested, and fully serviced to ensure effortless locking and release.

Following a full safety check, the wheelchair was handed back fully operational and ready for travel. The customer left with complete peace of mind for her trip ahead.
