Quickie powerchair repair at our Ferndown workshop
Our workshop team replaced a worn front castor wheel and swapped the main solid tyres on a Quickie powerchair in Ferndown.

A customer brought their Quickie Q300 powerchair to our Ferndown workshop for maintenance via the Motability scheme. The chair required attention to the front right castor wheel, which had worn down and was affecting smooth steering and stability during daily use. In addition, the main solid drive tyres needed replacing to ensure optimum traction.
Our qualified technicians inspected the powerchair to identify the exact castor assembly required for this specific model. Once the correct replacement castor wheel was sourced, we fitted it along with a fresh pair of main solid tyres, aligning everything correctly to guarantee smooth turning and reliable outdoor performance.
With the repair complete and thorough safety checks carried out, the powerchair was handed back to the customer in full working order. The owner can now enjoy comfortable, dependable mobility with complete peace of mind.
