Tailgate boot strap fitted to a Fiat Grande Panda

A Motability customer acquiring a new Fiat Grande Panda needed assistance with closing the vehicle's tailgate. Boot lids on modern hatchbacks can often sit high when open, making them difficult to reach or pull down without straining.

To resolve this, our technicians fitted a strong, fabric boot strap inside the tailgate interior grip. The strap hangs lower down, providing a comfortable reach point so the tailgate can be pulled closed easily from a seated or standing position.

The work was carried out on-site at the supplying main dealership ahead of the customer's vehicle handover. This straightforward addition restores full independence when using the boot.
